I was at Citifield !!  I'm so glad we won the game ....MANY innings later ! Woman LOL David's speech was so heartwarming, then the night finished with spectacular fireworks. I hope he'll be  a part of the front office- maybe even coach.

 

I was hoping the same with Mike Piazza years back,  but he's pretty much led a quiet life since retiring.

David was my favorite Met.  Hate to see him go.  He's a good guy, always a team player, never a trouble maker. He'll sure be missed.
