I don't follow much basketball @Mz iMac  however I wanna pour one right there with you.  My heart is so heavy for his wife, children and family.

You know it's hard enough to say goodbye to a loved one when they are sick and suffering.  The human condition makes us cling to what we see, hear, touch, smell.  Something so run of the mill like a quick helicopter flight that's been probably done so many times without an issue and three families are devastated.  I can't even wrap my head around the loss of a child.  To lose a child and parent of the family at the same time as the Bryant family has and the family friend has is more than I can even comprehend.

CNN reported that his middle daughter Gianna was on borad.

@songbird, I believe that he and his wife have four daughters.

@suzyQ3    Gianna was they second daughter.  There were two more, but much younger.  I think the youngest is 7 months old.   Bianca is 3 years old.
