Re: Good News For Chiefs Haters

@Coastalcarolina !!!  Girl, I wasn't at the game last weekend.  I would have loved to have been tho.  Sometimes I say something like "Gotta run, gotta get to the stadium for the game" (g)  I've said that since getting a 75" "football" tv for the den.  I have my recliner 6 feet in front of the tv Smiley Happy  Feels like I'm front and center.  I did get to see Patrick in April of 2023.  He was answering questions from the voice of the Chiefs, Mitch Holthus, at the Cowan Center at UT Tyler.  I was hoping it was going to be a motivational speech.  He has such a great testimony.

I find it hard to root for KC because of the hold their coach seems to have on the officials.  I'm a Commanders fan, however.

There are some here that have voiced their hatred for KC Smiley Surprised

I'm a steelers fan, but I enjoy watching KC, most never miss a game. But I like all sports. Getting tired of the big lunk, making hearts with his fingers up to her and looking to see if she's watching him. High school stuff. I'd be dropping him real fast. Hope your team wins @monicakm

Re: Good News For Chiefs Haters

I'd guess no one is suggesting teams 'take turns' any more than I'd assume anyone needed or wanted a lecture on competition. What some are saying is they'd enjoy seeing other teams reaching the big time. Nothing wrong with that. Not everybody is hung up on Mahomes, his family, the Chiefs, Reid, Swift, her attire or Kelce. Personally, I'm not a fan of any of them, though the team is clearly talented.

@HLP

I hear you. I know Taylor is making the NFL and the Chiefs a lot of money but please not as the expense of the football fandom. Puppy dog eyes don't belong on a pro football field LOL

no hatred here. Just smh that the chiefs and in particular Mahomes, have the officials in their pocket. Even their own fans know it. If that's what it takes to help them win, so be it. Proud of my team for a 15-2 season and being a number 1 seed without any extra advantage

Re: Good News For Chiefs Haters

I'm not really a football fan as I find the game rather dull and after all these years, I don't understand everything (nor really care to at this point).  I certainly don't hate the Chiefs but just get a little tired of hearing about them....or rather, Mahomes & Kelce/Swift.  I actually kinda root for them as my nephew and his family live in the KC suburbs and have been to several games.

I'm a Commanders fan, but I also root for the Chiefs...

I'm not crazy about the Kelce/Swift overexposure, but when push comes to shove, Mahomes is one of the best QBs around.

I'd love to see them do a "Three-Peat," but only if Jayden Daniels doesn't get there first Smiley Wink
