Very, very sad to read this. 😔

Thank you for your thread.
My wife told me this earlier today and it is sad news. I really liked him as a coach going way back to Johnny Unitas with the Baltimore Colts. Why the Colts? Think it may have been Unitas, not sure.
Followed him through his years with the Dolphins and through most of those years. He, to me, was a standout coach and a person.
Condolences to his family.
Rest in Peace Mr. Shula, you were good for NFL Football. 🏈

Sorry to hear this. Was a big Dolphin fan from the beginning. And loved it when he became the coach. RIP.

So sad to see his passing.
Also lost a year ago in May was Bart Starr, another football great, a Hall of Famer.
I had the opportunity to meet Mike Shula when he lived in Alabama.
Probably the most handsome man I've ever seen, but not a very good player or coach

He was a class act.

Sad to hear this. He led the Miami Dolphins to the only perfect season in NFL history.
