I am not a fan of sports but my husband is and we just discovered that The Guardians has partnered with MLB Network and will not be shown on our Spectrum Line up this year...the network wants $100.00/year to watch.

DH is really irked....he will either have to listen on the radio or not be involved with baseball this year.

Oh, that's so annoying!  We are in the same boat with the Mariners, and we don't even live in Washington--we are 4.5 hours away from Seattle.  We are in the "blackout" area and only way to watch is streaming on Tubi.  I thought "okay, sign us up" until I saw it costs an astronomical amount per month.  We get limited radio in our rural area of Oregon and certainly not any Mariners games.  Thanks for nothin', aye?!Woman Sad

We like to go to home games, but for us that's a major excursion and expense with all the driving, a hotel, not to mention tickets.  It doesn't happen often.

same for me in Florida, no Detroit Tigers games. I'm not going to pay for MLB channel. I splurged on NFL Sunday Ticket to get Lions football. I'm out of money! Haha

Major League baseball has turned their backs on the average American.  You can no longer afford to attend a game in person, but now you have to pay to watch it at home.

@Mom2Dogs   get used to Tom Hamilton and let's get underway at the corner of Ontario and Carnegie.😀
