Bowling

I belong to a bowling league that bowls once a month. We bowl "no tap" which means that if you bowl a strike or only leave one pin standing on your first ball, it counts as a strike. So today I bowled a perfect game, a 300! I thought I might choke but I did it!

I used to belong to a bowling leage years ago and never could get a 300 but I did get very close once.

My mom bowled a 300 when she was 84. She no longer bowls. Shortly after her 300 game she had to give it up due to health reasons.

I'm glad she was able to get that 300, before she had to give it up.

I loved to bowl when I was a kid, but was never that good at it. Have not been bowling since, maybe I'll try my hand at it again. Congrats on your score.

I also bowl on a regular league on Monday nights. My average right now is 145. I recommend it, all ages and sizes bowl. I have been bowling since I was in my 20's.

Yay for you!! My grandpa has been in bowling leagues all his life...multiple at a time. He actually used to own a Pro Shop...anyway, three times he has bowled a 297. He must be cursed

Congratulations on your 300!!!!! I can only wish to ever get that. My highest game ever was a 220 when my now husband and I were dating. I was not in a league then and never got even a 200 in league.
