The Phillies didn't make it easy, but they got the win. One down, three to go.

Last night's game was so exciting!  Wow! It took extra innings, but the Phillies beat the Astros in Houston!  

The catch, Castellanos, made in right field, to send it to extra innings, was FREAKIN AWESOME! 

Little by little, they chipped away and was able to go ahead in the 10th with a home run.

So, tonight is Game 2 in Houston.  As I write this, the game is in the 6th, with the Astros ahead.

The Astros are in a bad spot now. Down 2-1 they pretty much need to win tonight to keep their hopes alive. If they fall behind three games to one and have to win three straight, it gets very challenging. Winning three straight is asking a lot of a baseball team. This is a "backs to the wall" game tonight for the Astros. A win tonight puts them back into this thing. A loss and things get a lot trickier for them.

Phillies are halfway there!    Big win last night for the Phillies, 7-0.

The pitching is lined up for success! 

@gardenman  MUCH good luck to your boys tonight.  Would love for them to win this at home! 

Tonight is game 4 with Javier and Nola starting.

Kudos to the Astros for the no-hitter. The Phillies can't win if they can't get a hit. Now it's a three-game series. Whoever wins two of the three is the champion. The Astros really needed that game last night. Now things are evened up again at two games each. Tonight's game now becomes critical for both teams. Win it and you're just one game from the championship. Lose it and you're one game from a long offseason.
