I'm sorry if I kept you all up past your bedtime last night. As usual, the Yankees and Sox games are LONG, competitive and nerve-racking. It took extra innings, but the Yankees won. They had a lead and let it slip away. I'm sure Soxettes were cheering while I was cursing. LOL
Judge hit #56 and 57 last night.
They play again tonight with Cortes and Bello starting.
Mets are .5 game in front of the Braves. GOOO METS!
The Dodgers clinched a playoff berth. They are the first to do so.
Good luck to all our teams.
Any news about your team to share with us?

@Greeneyedlady21 wrote:@dmod nj Well obviously I haven't been happy with the direction for pretty much the entire season. I don't watch their games, didn't even know they were playing the Yankees.
I was watching the US Open tennis, really enjoyed it this year
I agree, @Greeneyedlady21 . I thought the season ended in May !!! LOL

Bleacher Report
If Aaron Judge is hoping to make the New York Yankees nervous about the possibility of retaining him in free agency, he is going about it in an excellent manner.
Following the Yankees' 7-6 win over the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday, Judge was asked about the possibility of signing with his team's biggest rival.
"Ooh," Judge told reporters with a smile. "We'll talk about that at the end of the year."
The American League MVP front-runner also lavished praise on Red Sox fans:
"They're some of the best in baseball. They're going to boo you, they're going to say some things, they're going to make you laugh. It's all part of it. A lot of great history here, and this is one of the best places to play, so it's always fun going out there and trying to put on a show for them."

@Greeneyedlady21 lol Thanks for sharing this. We'll see where he signs............IF he stays healthy, he can stay in pinstripes. If this year is a fluke, he can leave. LOL
@redwingsgal you made me LOL.
Yankees won last night. Today is a day off.
Tomorrow, they start a three game series in Milwaukee.
Good luck to all our teams.

First, I must say I know NOTHING about the season schedule .... so, when is the 2022 World Series? Are we having one?
I ask because I've seen some promos for the football season .... and I thought, hmm, shouldn't we be having the WS first?
TIA
09-19-2022 08:28 AM
Hi @Tinkrbl44 The WS will be in October. Teams finish the regular season in the first week of October. After that, they start the rounds of playoffs.
The WS ends around the end of October.
Football has begun. Baseball and football will be played during the months of September and October.
October also brings the starts of the hockey and basketball seasons.
Hope that helps.
