The Yankees are a mess. They were swept by the Phillies.  Today, they lost 7-0.   

Congrats on the wins, @FlyersGirl 

 

Tomorrow is a day off, thank goodness!  

 

Hope your team did better than mine this weekend.   

 

Tuesday, the Yankees will play the Jays in Buffalo.  

Monty on the mound for the Yankees.

@dmod nj No it's not injuries. The pitching is bad, that's the biggest problem. Not hitting well either. They actually play the Blue Jays again tomorrow, then it's a road trip starting in Atlanta.

 

I was enjoying watching them, now I'm just worried.

I feel your pain, @dmod nj , we were also swept this weekend, by the ChiSox which now puts us only FIFTEEN games out of first...

 

It is not even the middle of June and that fat lady is warming up her voice!!

 

We go to KC today to start a new series....This could be a looooooong summer.....

I know the Yankees are 8.5 games back and each day they fall further back in the standings.  

I'm trying to stay hopeful! LOL   I'm not sure if I'm a positive thinker or delusional. LOL

We took game one of the series last night.  Tonight is Mize v Minor.  This should be a good game!

 

Two take aways from last nights broadcast (I had the KC feed on my cable)

 

1- That pitcher (Keller) was the s l o w e s t pitcher I have ever seen

2-If the KC announcers don't stop calling Perez "Salvie" I am gonna drive to KC and make them stop!  I cannot stand that nickname!
