@dmod nj I think Todd is a utility player, not a regular third baseman, someone good to have on the bench. Hopefully Steve Cohen gets approved to purchase the time, I'm expecting him to spend lots of money this off season!

@dmod nj : I think he's great. He's a seasoned veteran who still has talent, and he has a great, upbeat personality. Plus, he's a clubhouse leader. I think the Mets should keep him next year.

The team's new owner will be spending more $$$$, so he'll be more willing to pay him than the Wilpons would have been, IMO.

RIP Joe Morgan, he died yesterday at the age of 77. He had struggled with various health issues in recent years, including a nerve condition- a form of polyneuropathy.

Sorry if this was previously posted.
