The White Sox have made the playoffs for the first time since 2008 after beating the Twins today 4-3!!!

@SoX  congrats!!   I heard you cheering all the way here. 

The Bronx Bombers are out tonight again.   

They have 5 homers, three back to back, in one inning. 

In the 5th inning, Yankees are head 9-3. 

What a difference a week makes. The Yankees offense clearly did not make the trip to Buffalo to play the Jays last week.  

This week, the Yankees are hosting the Jays.  They have outscored the Jays, 42-11, so far.  

Fingers crossed our bullpen can win the game for Tanaka! 

Next up, the Yankees go to Boston to play the Sox.

Yankees swept the Jays.  They outscored the Jays 43-15. 

Now, they are off to Boston to play the Sox in a three game series. 

Montgomery is the starter for the Yankees.

I no longer pay attention to the Red Sox. I just know that they stink.

David Ortiz said he had COVID-19 "Man, this is no joke."

Retired Red Sox legend David Ortiz said Friday that he contracted COVID-19, but he didn’t show symptoms.

Ortiz spoke of his illness Friday during the Red Sox versus Yankees game

“I just got my last test yesterday — thank God I tested negative,” said Ortiz. “I had [an] asymptomatic [case], so mine wasn’t that bad. But my brother had it really bad. He had to be in the hospital for, like, a week. He ended up losing about 25 pounds. Man, this is no joke.”

Ortiz spoke to the news station from his Dominican Republic home, The Globe reported.
