Another big game for both our teams, but for different reasons. lol   I'm hoping the Cubs win to keep playing.  You are hoping the Dodgers win to move on to the WS. 

I hope both teams have a good competitive game.

@dmod nj...Hope you are having a good Thursday too! Yes, Go Dodgers...I found my New team to Cheer for & Seen my first grand slam home run this season They are Awesome.

A sad ending for the 2017 Cubs.  Didn't seem like any of them - pitchers or hitters - came to play tonight.  Even "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" in the 7th inning sounded melancholy.

Congrats to the Dodgers and their fans!  They are going to the WS for the first time in MANY years.......since 1988. 

@MarLoCatonce again, you found great graphics to share!!  

@ValuSkr  I have to agree with you.  I think the grand slam was the last nail in the optimistic coffin.  I watched a wee bit of the post game. They didn't see the spark from last year either.   

I think watching the Cubs in the playoffs was a great reminder of how difficult it is to repeat a championship year. 

Yankees play tonight at 8:00 eastern on FS1.  Starters are Verlander and Sevy.  Fingers crossed for Sevy.
