Whew, Montgomery had a scary 1st inning.  Lots of Pirates on base.  He got out of it with allowing only 1 run.

Waving hi from the Bay Area!  

Watching the YES broadcast of the Yankees game on my laptop.  Red Sox and O's are on TV here.  Montgomery did well to get out of the 1st inning with only 1 run.  Hope the Yankees bats can get going again today.  Looks like Nova is going to be tough.

Exciting 9th for the Yankees....fielding error, stolen base, 

bases loaded, 2 outs, Kozma  at bat. 

Let's see what happens..............

Kozma grounds out and leaves bases loaded.   Yankees lose the game.

They also lose the series.   

Tomorrow is a day off.  

Tuesday, they start a three game series with the Sox.

Very disappointing end to the game.  Bases loaded with one out and the Yankees can't get a run in.  They will have tomorrow to think about that.

Congrats on the win and series win!   It was good to see the former Yankees....Nova, Cervelli and Stewart....during the series.

went to the orioles/red sox game today at camden yards. it is a beautiful ballpark to see if you ever get a chance. we had very good seats......close to first base.

it was a great day for baseball, but no win for the orioles today.

i probably jinxed them by attending. LOL.....4 runs in the first inning? disappointing. still in first place though. congratulations red sox fans!

there were LOTS of red sox fans there today and we even went with 3! they were happy with the game outcome. one of them even caught a foul tip!

havent been to the ballpark in so long. i really enjoyed it. i need to go back soon. it is a great way to spend a sunday afternoon.

@sunshine45  I love Camden Yards.  I always went for the Yankee series, but now I wait for them to play the Nationals since it's a lot closer to me.

Speaking of the Nationals.  Another grand slam last night and a Mets series sweep.
