This goes beyond the NFL.  NASCAR and, to a lesser extent, baseball, need to pay attention because the lawyers are going to be coming for them, too.

 

The issue with the NFL is the whole "company doctors" and whose best interest did those doctors have in mind when clearing a player to go back out there.  A player wants to play.  But the wives and girlfriends can probably testify to behavior and personality changes with each concussion.
