Good Monday morning, 

It was a busy NY Rangers weekend.   

Captain Trouba was traded.   No surprise there.  They tried to move him over the summer. He had a no trade clause.  It's no surprise.  I wish it wasn't so public. I wish it had been handled better by NY Rangers management, but no one asked me how to handle it.   One good thing is the Ducks is taking on his 8 million dollar salary. 

The Rangers have traded away their last three captains.  Why would anyone want that job?  

I wish him well with the Ducks. There are some former Rangers he'll be playing with. 

The kid we got in return is hurt.  I don't think he's ready to play just yet. 

Also that day, Shesterkin signed with the Rangers. Do I love him, sure!  Do I think the Rangers should, once again, make the mistake of making their highest player a goalie?  Nope!   But, once again, no one asked me. lol 

They played well the day the trade happened, Friday.  They beat the Pens. 

Yesterday, they played the Kraken and it was a dumpster fire again. 

Tonight, the Blackhawks visit MSG.  We'll see if they can play good hockey.  Our defense has been abysmal.   Is it the players, their coaching staff?????  

Something needs to change and fast! 

Devils played the Avs, with former Devils goalie, Wedgewood, in goal for the Avs........and they lost. UGH!  It was not a good hockey day in my home.

The Rangers lost to the Hawks.  

Tonight, we're watching the Leafs vs Devils.  So far, the Devils are winning 1-0 in the 2nd. 

JT Miller is skaking with the Canucks again. I wish him health and peace of mind. 

Shattenkirk retired from the NHL.  I wish him all the best in life. 

Georgie is now with the Sharks, reunited with Trouba.

@dmod nj Zuccy's still on LTIR, not sure how long but Foligno (with Zuccy's permission) was on a podcast and said "everything" was able to be saved, so that's good. He also said his cup was dented pretty good and that Faber will probably be buying him a steak dinner as it was friendly fire. 

I have changed my routine this year, I don't put on a different shirt when the game comes on. When Mr Red and I are watching and the other team goes up by 2 I go upstairs and he turns the channel and if I have a Wild shirt/jersey on I change it. Tonight that happened, I get upstairs and my Wild score two with in 36 seconds of each other, then Utah scored 2 more. We had to pull Gus and tied it with less the thirty seconds left in the game. We went through OT and then the SO and Gus blocked all three, so yay, we won!

I don't hate the Chiefs, but Mr Red is getting a lot of pressure to "convert". I gave him permission to tell them about my tattoo, but not the location of it,  so it won't be happening.

Although the Devils lost last night to the Leafs in OT, it was an exciting game to watch.   The Leafs goalie, Anthony Stolarz, is a Jersey kid.  He played in front of his family and friends and beat his childhood team.  Cool for him, not so much for Devils fans. lol 

Rangers, who are in a free fall and hot mess, play the Sabres, another struggling team, on TNT, 7:00 eastern.  

@redhead handbag queen   Faber's got some nifty moves. LOL LOL    I'm screaming laughing at the comment about everything being saved. LOL   I am glad he's going to be okay.  I think Faber's going to buy him a surf and turf dinner.......or few. lol 

Wooohoo! See, since you changed up your routine, they won!  Stick with that until it doesn't work anymore. lol

Rangers hung on to beat  the Sabres.   I'll take it, it's a W!   

Miller is on IR.  

Devils looked great in the victory over the Kings!

@dmod nj Zuccy and Brodin came back today, Erikkson Ek is still out, Middleton went out the last game and will be out for a month. 

Zuccy still could skate and had just as much speed, I say this because Mr Red thought that these things could be long term affected by his injury. Please don't ask me how, lol

Hi everyone,  

I hope you've been wearing earplugs on the nights the Rangers play.  Why?   Cause, I've been screaming at the tv....LOUDLY!   OMG! They are cooked, done, put a fork in them.   What will it take to turn this around?  IDK if it can even be turned around.  

I am disappointed and disgusted with the lack of interest and playmaking from the vets.   The kids have put this team on their backs and TRIED to win.  

Shesterkin was pulled the other night.  The d in front of him was non-existent.  

They are a hot mess and I'm not sure how much longer they can go on like this. 

Kappo was a healthy scratch.  What?   Why him?  Why not Kreids, Mika, Ryan???   Maybe a trade?   

So tonight, the Rangers are in Nashville to play the Preds.  We'll see what happens tonight. 

On a MUCH BRIGHTER note,  the Devils are in St. Louis to play the Blues.  LGD! 

@redhead handbag queen  thanks so much for the update. I read about Middleton.   I hope his wrist heals well and quickly.

@dmod nj I think I heard you all the way here in Minny.  I'm guessing it was accurate and well deserved though. I cannot believe your guys lost to the Prey. Is it the locker room, leadership or coaching? 

I hope they can figure it out otherwise it's going to be a long winter. 

My guys are hosting the Panthers, it's later because it's on TNT.

@redhead handbag queen  I honestly don't know what is going on or why.   They look completely disinterested. They don't play with purpose, energy, or well. No hockey sense, no talent...it's a mystery.   

I thought it was the Trouba drama. But he's gone. 

I thought it was Shesterkin's contract distraction, but he signed.

I wonder if it's Drury, the GM.   Many of the writers say the team didn't like the dirty way Drury handled Trouba's issues.  IDK???  

What looked like a PROMISING season is now slipping away FAST!  

YAY! I'll be able to watch your boys!   LGW! 

Is anyone else unhappy about the direction of your team?  Am I the only one biotching? lol lol
