Re: 2022-2023 NHL season, all are welcome!

Devils won their 9th in a row against the Coyotes.  My men, in particular my Drummer Boy, are so HAPPY!

The Lindy chant cracked me up.

Rangers had a 4 minute pp, pulled the goalie, and could not get a shot through.  The Preds players kept blocking the shots.  Are they being coached by Torts? LOL

With 1:49 left, Rangers are down 2-1.

Halak in goal tonight.  This team can not win a game for him.   The last two games, he's  been GOOD,  but they could not get the win.

The Nashville goalie and blocked shots made a REAL difference.

This game was nasty, too, despite being tightly called for both sides.

Ryan Mead's take on tonight's game:

Breakaway Takeaways vs NSH: - NYR had every chance to win this game - You have to score on a 4 minute power play to end the game - Halak played well but it wasn't enough - Another game NYR could have had and couldn't get it done - PP has to be better

Cough Cough Cough.....Achoo Achoo Achoo, and PINK eye

is why my STARS tickets went unused.  Dang it - hubby got

sick.  It wasn't ideal weather either for driving to Dallas, cold front with lots of rain.

We lost that game, I'm sure the outcome would had been different if I had

been there. haha.  Next time, I won't buy tickets so far in advance.

Still haven't seen a game, I have little to offer here instead of

STARS win or STARS lose, but I enjoy reading about everyone's teams. Smiley Happy

[ Edited ]

My Bs are off until Thursday!!   I hate these three day stretches in between games.

( I know, the players are not agreeing with me!)  On the plus side, batteries can be recharged and aches and pains can heal....but on the other side---we don't want to slam any brakes on this freight train!!    Please Mr. schedule maker.  Let us sleep peacefully.

We do NOT want to wake up from this beautiful dream!!    Keep growling, Bruins!!!

Rangers got it together enough to win last night. Smiley Happy  Like @781Florist  and @JFD12  's Bruins, the Rangers are off until Thursday.

Starting Thursday, the Rangers are on the west coast. You know what that means..........LATE games!  Not sure how much of those games I'll see.

@yellowrose   Nothing at all funny about feeling under the weather or not being able to use hockey tickets!!!  Hope your husband is feeling better.  I am sure the play of the Stars is keeping his spirits up!

I did smile, however at your Dallas cold front mention.  What is a Dallas cold front?

50 degrees?  LOL!!  Here in the upper right hand corner of the U.S. we were in the mid to high 70s last week.  Last night it was 23 degrees!!!  You guys suffer in summer, but at least you can't make a cross-ice pass on the sidewalk!! Smiley Very Happy

Re: 2022-2023 NHL season, all are welcome!

@781Florist  hubby is feeling better, thanks, just two more days of eye drops for pink eye.  He's not into sports like I am - how we ended up together is a mystery. LOL

He does enjoy being dragged to games though.

It's been in the 40's during the day, mid to low 30's at night with wind chill in the high 20's. Same forcast as least thru Thanksgiving - I'm so ready for some sun and warmth.

Don't know what a "cross-ice pass" is...but.no, I'm sure we can't do that,

but during summer we can fry an egg on concrete. Smiley Happy
