Rangers won in a shoot out.

The Sharks scored with less than 20 seconds to tie it.   UGH!  

Shatty scored the winning goal in the so.  YAY!!

Yes, they did, however the Red Wings then allowed three back to the Jackets!!!

But Bertuzzi scored late in the third (and there was an empty netter later on) 

REDWINGS WIN TWO IN A ROW!!!   We are NOT in last place right now!!!

Not exactly current NHL related, but I met a hockey legend today. He was standing in line behind me to get on the airplane, and then ended up across the aisle from me. About halfway thru our in line chat, I realized it was Jim Craig! Holy Hockey Heaven! I had such a crush on him in the 80's! He was actually watching part of Miracle on Ice during the flight. When I asked him if he'd perhaps played a bit of goalie himself, he got the biggest grin. He was even nice enough to stop for a pic with me once we got off the airplane.

Sure...the flight was GRR-ATL. He's on his way to his beach place in FL (as am I).
