Actually I will hate it when the finals are over. It's a long time until we can start this whole thing all over again.

I the meantime, my Angels are doing pretty well. Oh, I know that's for another thread but I thought I'd slip it in to make myself feel better.

I think I will avoid this thread during the Stanley Cup finals to keep my positive attitude for my Blackhawks. Edited to add momof4, thank you for the invitation. I did post you a couple times and didn't receive a response. Your team played a GREAT series. See ya'll in viewpoints... *GRIN*

Gosh I'm sorry Alley. I was gone for a good part of the day and forgot to read the posts before posting myself. Thanks for saying we played a great series.

Please don't avoid coming here during the finals. We get over our disappointment pretty fast and we actually support anyone who comes here (yes, even Hawks fans)!!

Ducks/Hawks-Game 7

Short version. Pretty much what I posted about the Bolts/Rangers-Game 7. The Ducks got beat by a team that was better on this particular night. It started getting away from them pretty early in the game. Being neutral on this whole series, I think the Hawks deserved to win this 7th game.

Since you go way back with the Tampa Bay Lightning, do you remember who the person was that worked the hardest to get an NHL Franchise for that city? Hint: He played for my New York Rangers towards the end of his career.

Well, since the Predators were eliminated early on . . . I was cheering for the Ducks & the Rangers in the East/West divisions.

Now I will cheer for the Blackhawks in the Finals.

And for Blackhawk fans . . . The Hallmark NHL Hockey ornament will be a Blackhawks player . . . I don't recall which one but added it to my list I turned in for 2015 for son's ornament collection. I don't buy them all . . . just a nice variety to add to his tree of NHL, NBA, MLB & NFL players over the years. Looked it up, this year is Jonathan Toews.

Yikes in looking them up I see on one site the 2010 Crosby Gold Medalist ornament is 199.00 . . . I hope I bought that one for so that year but I bet I didn't, esp IF it was only available in Canada.
