the earth belle brielle shoe

caroline was just presenting this shoe with sally.  they were going through colors and came to the color "bat" and sally could not come up with a GOOD explanation for that color name. 

 

the shoe was brown and tan.  B A T 

 

maybe i am wrong, but i've seen this color name before and always thought this must be what it stands for.
