"AS IS" boots more expensive then the new!?!?!?!?

Saw a lot of boots were on sale and my husband just bought us a new Harley Davidson Trike for us to enjoy in our retirement next year, so instead we bought it now to enjoy while making payments and will be payment free by retirement date! 

 

Next st we need coats and boots! 

 

So  I need a nice pair of biker looking black boots for a woman of retirement age to go with the bike, so I started looking.  Found the new Bare Trap Tall Shaft boots with buckle / Tommy cost on sale $32.32. then I checked the "as is" and laughed when the "as is" boot was more than the new one......$34. 

 

Haha Used boots are cheaper than the new!

 

I had to buy a black pair just to have a conversation starter about how I acquired them.
