I have had to change the heel I wear since I have had to deal with sciatic issues in my hip; I can't go past 2 1/2 inches.
I love the look of 3 inch heels on a boot with some pants, I just can't do it!

Hey! I'm in the same boat. 2 to 2 1/2 for me. I love the look of a three inch heel but no. I often think I can and then my feet say no-no !

I still wear 3" heels, but I don't have to be on my feet for long periods of time wearing them. I find wedges to be much more comfortable than spikes. Depending on the style, a chunky heel can also be more comfortable and look good. I get ribbed by some of the ladies at church about my heels, but they all say they would do it too if they still could.

Same here @ECBG and because I have bionic knees I'm only really able to handle a 2 or 2-1/2" heel if it's a thick clog type. Cannot wear "heels."

1 inch with a nice arch
I've had back and hip problems since I was a teenager.
I always admire women who can wear high heels!
Sometimes a low heel feels better than a flat shoe!

1 1/2 " is about perfect. Ongoing mobility issues settled my heel height choices long ago. I cannot wear a flat shoe or slipper either.

I haven't worn any heel in at least 10 years now because I don't have to any more. Ever!

I can wear a 3" heel but for me it's toe comfort, not the heel.
I need a more rounded toe, can't do pointy toes!
It'll be a sad day to give up those cherry red shoes...but I do have them in a modest 1 1/2", too. 😉

Same here...2" - 2 1/2". If I go any higher even if it's a "comfortable" shoe the angle will just push my toes into a position that hurts the joints.
