I purchased a pair and returned them.  Very hard.  If you like a hard shoe you will love them.  I am more of a Sketchers girl when it comes to comfort.

No its not hard like a Birkinstock is but it doesn't bend like a thong does. there is nice cushion in it but you don't walk like a duck. I love mine.

I purchased an Alegria mule from QVC on clearance for $63.  It's very cute with colors; however, it is not as comfortable as my Clarks ( must have about 30 pairs).  Very diisappointed.  I thought they were made in Europe because of the sizing, but they're made in China.

Yes, they are very rigid, but i find them extremely comfortable and easy to walk in. I bought my first pair of Alegria's when i had plantar fasciitis and they helped me tremendously.

Yes, i found the foot bed,just did not work for me at all.
