It amazes me that people don't think it gets cold in Florida. It does! It just doesn't last for a long period of time. We had several really cold snaps in Central Florida last winter that I would have hated to be in without a lightweight coat or jacket.

I solved that problem with Crocs.  They make a lot of different styles now – ballet flats, wedges, open toe, etc.  Whenever I know it’s going to rain I wear my ballet style Crocs to church.  Completely waterproof and indestructible. Here's one example I got from their website.  They're constantly coming up with new styles.

A cute pair of ankle boots!  Some are waterproof and look very dressy especially with pants.  They are what I wear to church all winter long!Woman Wink
