I THOUGHT
I canceled the last vionic TSV --A680673--a week or so ago---but they showed up yesterday.
Got the sage green slides and I sent them right back. They just were not comfortable on, especially right under the inside step--felt like a bump there that was very annoying. I think I have a pair of thongs from this brand I bought years ago and always thought they weren't as "life changing" as the vendor claimed even then. Have to say, will stick to my Clarks breeze ones--by far more comfy.

As I've aged, my feet seem to flatten so that bump is very comfortable for me. I'd been a big fan of Clarks for ages when I worked but they just don't have enough support for my flat feet any longer. Not all Vionics have that pronounced bump, I have another pair that I wear often that has a pronounced arch which I find to be very comfortable, as well. I have friends who swear by Skechers so that tells me that everyone's feet are very different. I've never met a shoe that was life changing for me, however, no matter what the sellers say![]()

@wagirl. What you felt was the much touted arch support that directs the foot of those who pronate toward the outside of the foot. Haven't you watched any of the thousands of presentations we've been shown?
They are basically
orthopedic shoes.

Yes, Vionics could be life changing for some. If you pronate and didn't have the support you need to hold your foot in the correct position, finding Vionics is/was a big deal. Vionics have been offered for a very long time so we are now used to all the orthotic footwear that's out there. I can tell you that finding Birkenstock was life changing for me since I wore heels all day and my feet were in terrible condition (bunion and 3 neuromas on my right foot). I find Clarks to not have enough support for me so I think it's just that we are all different. The Vionics arch can be too extreme for some and the Clarks too flat for others. Just depends on the person.
If your feet hurt bad enough, "yes" a supportive orthotic shoe can be "life changing". You just have to find the right one for you.

I have 2 pair of custom orthotic insoles, one of which is in my skates. You need to work up to wearing them, starting out with 1 hour, then adding an hour as you become accustomed to them until you can wear them all day. These Vionics may be similar.
The ones for the skates had to be made thinner since there's not much room in the skates for a foot, much less an added insole.

@wagirl Did Liam leave Vionic? He was the rep for White Mountain. The Vionic rep was a woman.
