Yellow was the color that got me out of my fashion rut.  I felt inexplicably drawn to a pair of lemon yellow heeled sandals last Summer.  I bought them because they felt great on.  I was suprised how much I wore them.  They inspired me to buy a cute summery white top with a lemon print on it because the yellow matched perfectly.  I started buying yellow accessories too--scarves, bags.  It's such a happy color!  I feel good wearing it, and I was suprised how often I wear yellow now.  It looks great with shades of blue, brown, and white.  It's fun to leave your comfort zone!

I don't have a comfort zone when it comes to color.  I love color in my clothes and in my shoes and match/coordinate shoes with my clothes so I have shoes in many, many colors.  Off hand, I can think of 7 pair of yellow shoes I have.  I may have more.  My yellow shoes get alot of wear, even in winter as I have a mustard color yellow suede loafer that goes well with many winter clothes. I do have to say that most of my yellow shoes are worn spring and summer.

@QVCkitty1

I don’t think colored shoes are outside my comfort zone but most of mine are conservative.. Until recently. I added ballet pink sneakers, bright red sandals, and bright turquoise sandals. I think they will be fun pops of color to add to outfits.

I have been waiting for the shoe brands as well as the clothing brands to use the color dijon mustard in shoes, sandles, and clothing.   They have used every other color but very rarely see anything in dijon mustard except in floral prints.  Would love to see a dijon mustard in suede in some Vionics or Earth....

@QVCkitty1  I love yellow sandals although I own a pair of Marigold only.  Yellow goes with dark gray, navy, black, white, certain greens and khaki.  You will get a lot of use out of them.  I bet they are really cute.

I love shoes of different colors.  A few years ago I had a hard time to find yellow.  The following year it was available and I got two pair in diffrent styles.  I wear them a lot in the spring/summer.

I am crazy about shoes, I believe that they build the whole image. And also I believe that having yellow sandals in your collection is a must!

I have a problem of Fly sandals in yellow, and my daughter has Tieks in yellow. You will be surprised how much you can wear them with. Think neutral
