@151949, if I find shoes that fit and wear well, I will buy more than one pair.  I especially do this with athletic shoes, since I work out almost every day.  Even though red is not my color, I have a pair of red flats that I wear quite often, especially with denim.

I'm a believer in buying multiples when i find something that's just right for me.

I've had two pair of the perfect all-around shoe, and when I went back to get a third pair it was discontinued, to make way for new styles.

That was probably a decade ago, and I've always been sorry I delayed in going for a third pair to tuck into the closet.

If I find shoes I really like than I do buy three pairs in different colors. The fit is the most important factor for me.

I have 8 or maybe 10 pairs the Clark's Breeze Sea flip flop, I wear them all Summer long, I have some pairs that are 6 years old

As for red, I always have red shoes in a number of styles in my collection.

Tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment to which I am wearing black pants with a black and white, bold, stripe top.  My bag and shoes are red.
