Why, oh why, Clarks!

I love Clarks shoes but I just don't understand why they insist on having contrast stitching on so many items. It makes a shoe very casual and something I can pair with slacks for work.

The upcoming TSV is cute...and then I saw the contrast stitching. bummer.
