Who Remembers Buying These For $12.00...

[ Edited ]

at the drugstore?

They're back!!!!

Dr. Scholls Original Slides - A590403

Would you pay this much for them, now?  $150.00

To all those wondering what's the purpose of these sandals.  They are to exercise your feet.  There is a raised area in the wood for the toes to grasp onto when walking to keep the sandals on.  That movement exercises the foot.

It does require a bit of practice to keep them on at first, but they are designed that way.

I found them to be comfortable after I learned how to wear them.  Wore them around the house all year long.  I still have two new pairs in my closet from years ago.

Dr. Scholl, podiatrist, saw a similar sandal in Germany, redesigned them for the American market.

@Foxxee   I remember them but never paid much attention to them.  There's not enough strap and its placed too close to the toes to securely hold the foot in place.  I instinctly knew I'd kill myself wearing them.  Very unsafe.

I remember them but never had them.  I do remember that they were $12.00 and you could buy them at the drugstore.  No, I would never pay $150.00 for thm...nor would I wear them if I were given a pair for free.

Remember them well at $12 and wore them all summer long during my teens.

I never had them, but some of my friends wore them back in the early 70s.  No way would I buy them now, especially at that price.  I've become spoiled by all the memory foam in shoes these days, and those Scholl's slides sure don't look comfy to me.

I still have mine although haven't worn them in many years. Used to wear them all summer.

They're $120 at Nordstroms and Amazon with free s/h.

Why $10+ s//h on QVC?

I didn't wear them when they were $12!!
