When A "Shoe" Doesn't Work Any Longer

Came home from work and put on the Isotoner slippers.  Although, only 1 day old, the padding felt very slight.Smiley Sad

These slippers always worked (Or I didn't have the awareness to deal with them at the time.)

I've been looking for a good comfort home shoe (don't want a laceup-I've never been a lace up girl.).

It seems Alegaria clogs will be the answer.  Need to try them on first of course.  Metarsal and bunion.  Whoopie!

Glad we have a large discount shoe/Carheart discount store .3 of a mile from where I work.

Nothing worse than when a go to shoe changes and you have to search for a replacement. Hope the new ones work out.

I started buying Alegria maybe 8-10 years ago and I LOVE them!

I have sandals, clogs and boots and they are all so comfortable!

I haven't bought another brand since I discovered these.

I wear a US size 7 and Alegria size 37 for reference.

With bunions and need for support, my go for years has been easy spirit slip on clogs.  Since they come in many sizes and widths, you should get a good fit where the shoe stays securely on.

The inner sole ( as well as the shoe ) can be tossed in washer and air or sun dried.

Many colors and fabrics...when on sale, about $38.  Lasts a long time.

I had to give away my Isotoner slippers: my feet demanded more support as I aged.

Have fun.  A nice indoor slipper/shoe can be so nice in the cold.

Alegria does make a wide for bunions.  It is wider than the Birkenstock normal/wide.  Does work with socks.

Ladies, just a heads-up regarding Alegria.

Pay attention to the sizes.  They have a new size chart and some styles are based on a different chart.

You can get more info on the Alegria Shoe Shop website.
