I believe it is a coated cotton tote with a chevron pattern. I saw it in one of the program guides sent to me with my last DB bag.

I'm pretty sure I'll be watching some of the Dooney programming, but not interested in this TSV even a little bit... Some of the colors are appealing, but I don't care much for the chevron pattern and don't want or need another tote.

Oh good Lord I hope not. I waitlisted the Violet Flo Satchel in small (not available now). If I bring home another bag, I truely will be the bag lady. Living on the streets with my handbags. LOL

SFGiantsGirl, I will tell you that I have never been drawn to a Dooney color like I am to the new violet color. I will definitely be purchasing one Dooney bag in that color. I just haven't figured out which one just yet. It is my favorite color of all time. A Dooney in this particular color is simply a must have for me.
