What is the difference between Spenco and Revitalign

Are the same company?  Is the quality the same?

 

I have liked the Revitaligns I've purchased, but I tried a Spenco slipper, and the bottom feels so hard and not very comfortable.

I believe the company was origianlly called Spenco then they changed to Revitalign.  I'm not sure why they changed the name....new owners maybe?

Spenco and Revitalign are two separate brands owned by Waco Shoe Co. Each brand uses similar orthotic support systems but they are not identical.

Shoes under both brand names are available separately, like two different brands.  I was just wondering about the quality of one vs. the other since I'm disappointed in the Spencos I got.

Neither brand is 'better' than the other. It just might be that some of the styles in each brand can have varying degrees of comfort levels. I know that's true for me.
