A few months ago I donated 2 gently worn casual shoes - a tan sneaker which rubbed my heels and a black boat shoe I rarely wore. I had to throw away my black loafers because they got ruined with some sticky residue. I definitely need to replace the loafers for fall and winter.

Just this last closet change - in the shoe category ...

Some sandals that I hardly wore - figured someone else might as well enjoy them.

In other categories .... last summer I started replacing my cotton t-shirts and polos with poly t-shirts and polos. A hole bunch of cottons went to charity.

All my D&Co beach pants and other knit pants..  Too thin to wear outside and too heavy to wear as pajama bottoms.  Unless it's a substantial knit - I'm not buying any more knit bottoms.

I purged anything that has a wedge or heel 3 inches or more. I am a school teacher and I need comfortable shoes.

I have let go of 3 pair of heels.  It breaks my heart to throw out my shoes!

I have to let go of a lot of shoes.  I buy way too many shoes and I realized earlier this year that my feet have gone up a half size.  My toes told me.  This is the second size change in my adult life.  The first time I broke my foot, this time?????  I asked my mom about this and she said this happens.  I am in my 50s and did not know this.  So I have a lot of closet cleaning to do...

I'd be happy to go shoe shopping with you for a new shoe wardrobe!

@seaglass1 you probably have already.  All my purchases so far from QVC.  I am a wide and this is a good place for wide.  Sticking to easy choices so far, Vionic (my favorite brand), and comfy Skechers, pandemic shoe purchases.  And I forgot, Fly London.  More complicated because a new brand for me, but highly recommended by @ECBG .  I also discovered what someone else posted about, perhaps in another thread, that Earth and Earth Origins are not the same.  No more Earth Origins for me.
