From what I see in stores beginning to stock boots and from fashion magazines, it appears that anything goes - tall, short, medium, low heights and many colors.
In presenting the TSV boot from ???? this week, Lisa R pointed out that boots over the knee were not as "in" anymore, but rather 3/4 length tall boots like the TSV were because showing the upper part of the calf was more slenderising than the over the knee boots.
Sorry, Lisa, I really like you, but you were wrong about over the knee being "out". They are everywhere. I see even more of these in mags than 3/4 boots. Lots of booties this year as well.
As to what is more slenderising, that will depend on the woman. I am not so sure about the upper part of the calf showing causes a slimming illusion.
