So, I just was looking over some GILI items and noticed item A252216, Lisa's Haircalf and Leather Hobo just went from $577.82 to $659.00. I guess since this was a limited edition of only 300 - they think they can sell for more? I don't think I've ever seen something go up in price like this. Interesting. What are your thoughts?

Maybe it was the feature price before which we know that price on any new item is for a limited time. Just a guess was the cheaper price stated as a feature price?

No hair calf for me at any price, I simply don't like the look.

Anyone who pays even $300 for that has to be out of their minds. Its a no name off brand known only by QVC shoppers. I do spend a lot on my bags but they are all Kate Spade with unsurpassed quality and style. I would never buy a bag from QVC. BTW, why are you surprised? They have been systematically raising prices on all of their merchandise and S&H all through 2014 the beginning of 2015.

That is so they can mark it back down to $577 on a so-called "clearance" price. QVC does this systematically (across all product lines) and regularly. The Featured Price goes to the QVC Price, and then back down to the Featured Price or something nearly identical to the Featured Price, a short time later.
