Do you mind sharing why?

@Texasmouse

I like a little more coverage on the top and sides.

I don't like the toe cleavage and I could see the

arch of my foot from the side of the shoe.

Hi@Texasmouse

I'm glad that helps.  The Crane brand works well for me.  The shoes have a little more  arecoverage at the top and sides and they are  similar to Tieks.Smiley Happy

@pprmntstx@  I have looked at Teiks but never tried them.  I just couldn't get past that you can see the outline of the big toe.

I do not like to wear socks with shoes but find it necessary with athletic shoes as my feet sweat a lot and memory foam insoles can get damp and feet smell. I forgot to bring a small travel size container of baby powder for my feet when I was in Australia. I won't make that mistake again as my feet sweat quite a bit when I wore my Earth Origins ballet flats with mary jane straps. I had replaced the insole with a memory foam one and my feet sweat a lot in those.

No, I don't wear peds with ballet flats.  My feet don't sweat and I don't wear faux leather flats so sweaty feet isn't a problem for me.
