Walking Sneakers

[ Edited ]

Are  there any brand of walking sneakers that do not look like <Boats> on someone who is a size 10??

I CANNOT wear  the memory foam, or the foam shoe, or the mesh shoe due to foot issues.  I need support.

The other issue is they cant be too low cut on the sides.

As much as I would LOVE to wear what is stylish, I cannot with my ankle and foot issues.  Smiley Sad

Would also prefer colors other than white.

A friend of mine has a pair by Nike that are two toned ..back half one color and the front another.They look great on her feet and break up the size.They are a light grey and a darker grey in the heal part.i think they are a suede and leather.

@FlowerBearMy feet are smaller than yours and I still think the walking shoes I wear for exercise look large, but I have little choice.  Several years ago at my podiatrist's suggestion, I started going to orthopedic fitters.  The first shop I tried agreed with the doctor that some of my foot and back pain was coming from the wrong New Balance sneakers.

I now wear the NB top of the line walking sneaker.  Mine are gray with green tourquoise laces and trim.  The same shoe comes in navy (not sure of the trim color).  They're expensive, but what I've saved in podiatrist and chiropractic visits since I began wearing these has ended up saving me money as well as pain.

Naturalizer and Easy Spirit (my 2 favorite brands) have many different styles.

I've been liking Ryka's where it's hard to find a white shoe. They do have some mesh though and I'm not sure if that's all of them.

I have problems with my feet also.  I've had good luck with Ryka Devotion.  I have to go up half a size.  They have good support and a decent arch.  Some of the other styles are not as comfortable.  I have the Skywalk and don't like it as much as the devotion line.  Kohls is having a sale now.  You might find the code for 30% off.  Shoebuy also has frequent sales and free shipping.

@Scooby Doo

I also own 4 pairs of Ryka Skywalk --- and 3 pairs of Ryka Devotion Plus 2. The Skywalk fit me perfectly in size 7 wide. The Devotion Plus 2 are the same size - but too roomy. It seems a little wider. I also have the Devotion Plus 2 in White. Love all the GREAT COLORS.

@FlowerBear

I bought all my Ryka sneakers from Zappos a few months ago. For you, I'd suggest u call Zappos and tell them what ur looking for -- they have the best Customer Svce - with free shipping and free return. They have so many different brands, styles and sizes. I also like reading the many reviews.
