I purchased an item and then decided to return it and asked for a QVC credit. I decided to purchase the D & B Ivy North/South purse that was on clearance for $150. Well after my credit was applied I owed like $59 so I put that on my debit card and then I ordered the Floor length Lori Greiner Silver Saver Jewelry Stand for my daughter and a Tiganello purse for my daughter-in-law.
Well I checked my status on these orders and it showed on my debit card that there were three pending charges, one for each of the above items, so I decided to check to see if they had shipped because the jewelry box I want to be sent to my daughter in Indiana and it said it was on backorder. I called CS and they told me that it should be in within 5 days - 2 weeks and I asked why I didn't have one held back for me and they said that was because the manufacturer didn't send them the amount they requested. Okay that's fine I totally understand.
None of the other items have shipped and they still say "In Process" which I didn't quite understand until I checked my status on Saturday and it told me to contact CS on the jewelry box, so I called and they told me that the credit was denied by my bank. This didn't make sense to me so while I had CS on the phone I checked my bank statement and it showed that there were three transactions plus a transaction for $170.02. I asked the CS rep what this amount was for and she told me it was for the D & B Ivy North/South purse. I explained to her that they already charged my account for the balance of $59.00 and now they are charging me for the whole purchase price of $170.02. She said they would call my bank and take care of it and that it would take 72 hours for this to be done and that I should check back on Tuesday. So in the mean time they are not sending my packages because of their mistake and I hopefully will get my items delivered when they need to be delivered. I will check back on Tuesday and hopefully my bank doesn't charge me because if they do I feel that QVC should reimburse me that cost.
Am I wrong for being irritated? Sorry for the long post but this is the first time something like this has happened and I know you kind ladies will understand and give me good advice on what to do. Plus I want my purse! Darn it!!!
