Love Uggs! Have had them for years. So, so comfortable. Ruin one pair because just wasn't thinking when I went out with them and it was raining. Duh! Water resistant with treatment, yes; waterproof, no. Smiley Sad

Oh my goodness...I LOVE them!  I own 4 pairs of the tall ones and one short one.  I live in them in winter.  Nothing keeps my feet as warm as Uggs. On dry, very cold days I wear them to work.  They are great boots.

If you're going to wear this type boot, I think it's well worth the money to invest in Uggs or one of the other better-made brands with real suede and shearing.  They're much warmer and of better quality.  These are not snow boots; they're more like snow bunny boots.

Yes, Uggs are great on cold, snowy days.....just not the wet snow.  I have 4 pairs of the boots and one of slippers and the first thing that has to be done with a new pair  is:  waterproof spray!  On the snowier days (here in Michigan) I wear the ones with the more substantial sole (better gripping).   For really big snows, I haul out the Sorels...they are totally waterproof and very warm.  But, for most of winter, Uggs are so comfy, you don't want to take them off and at the end of the day, putting your feet in the slippers....so nice.  So far, I haven't had to get the boots out but I know that day is coming!

If they're Uggs, probably not.  Pour some water over them and see what happens.  I plan to spray the new Uggs shoes and boots I just got.
