Treat leather?

I am a dooney collector. Their website says not to treat the different leathers. Should I treat leather? If so what do you ladies use? Sometimes I think my bags look dry but I dont know what dry really looks like. Thank you

I have lots of Dooney handbags and I never treat the leather. Other collectors do treat some of the leathers (but not pebbled or AWL). If you treat the leather you void any warranty you have from the manufacturer.

My feeling is that over time if a handbag needs some extra TLC, then I will worry about treating the leather. But not when it's new.
