Tote Bags

Hi, I have a pleated tote that I thought could be a smidge bigger. The Vera website says my pleated tote dimensions are 14 3/4 x 14 x 5 1/4. I got the three pocket tote on the 5 EZ pays that QVC had a few days ago. That description says the dimensions are 17"W x 13-1/4"H x 5-1/4"D. However, when I received the bag today, the width was about 15 inches, the same as the pleated tote when I held it up against it. There was virtually no difference between the two widths. Looks like QVC gave incorrect information.

In the past I had gotten a Carried Away tote that I thought was too big, and returned. Can anyone recommend another tote to me?
