Has anyone actually touched & felt these bags? The reviews are not all that favorable. Most of the negatives come from the trim - shiny PVC apparently, not leather like the rest of the bag.

I wonder if it is the quality of the PVC they use, or just the combination of leather and PVC. I say this because Dooney had the whole VENUS line of PVC bags, Kathy Van Zeeland makes a living on selling 100% PVC bags.

Someone who has experienced these various bags, please offer some insight. Thanks! I saw the Tig crossbody version and I have considered ordering, but I would like to hear from someone with some real-life experience. Maybe I can find one in a local department store, rather than do the order, hold it in my hands, pack & return route.
