OK, I'll try to edit this to keep it as short as possible. I met my BFF tonight to give her the Venus tote. It didn't come with a dust bag, so I put it in one I never used. She works with two other friends of ours, so I put their gifts in the top of the bag I was carrying to make it look like I had a lot of little gifts. I told her about my Sachi bags and how I thought they would make nice gifts for my friends. I handed her one of the Sachi gift boxes and as she was about to say "thank you" she saw it was for one of our other friends. She said "Ok, I'll give it to her tomorrow." I pulled out another Sachi box for the other friend, and she said she would deliver that one also. Then I told her those are what I'm giving my friends this year, but this is what I'm giving my best friend. I pulled out the dust bag and I had the name facing me. She looked at the bag and said "I'm getting a big Sachi!" I turned the dust bag so she could see "Dooney & Bourke" and she looked at me and just kept saying "No you didn't!" She opened the dust bag and just looked at me. She couldn't talk at first she was so overwhelmed. Then she said "My first Dooney & Bourke!" She loves the bag and the color! (I knew she wore a lot of brown, but she told me tonight that brown is her new black.) When I called to tell her I made it home she told me she already called 6 people, including her mother to tell them about her first Dooney! And she said she has a pair of brown patent slingbacks that are perfect with it! She sent me a text a little while ago to tell me she loaded it up for work tomorrow!

I had not planned on getting her a Dooney bag. (She was getting a Sachi!) It was more of an afterthought when Macys had it at such a great price and they didn't have the color I wanted. I think it was Divine Intervention that Macys only had the color she loves. I'm very happy it worked out the way it did!
