I watched the presentations of the Mitchell bag ( a lovely little bag). It is a ladylike bag. Loved in the red. But then I got to thinking about the current structured bag-with handle trend. Was going through my collection and found my Coach Court Bag. (had gotten it at a discount.)

In British tan and brass, it's a classic. But what is neat about this bag is that it has an outside slip pocket (yes!) and there is a lovely adustable shoulder strap that you can remove. It has inside zipper pockets. My deepest regret is that I didn't get it in black, but that is easily remedied. There are a lot of used black Court bags out there. Just a nice medium size.

It's not a "new" style, but there is a reason it still lives.
