TSV Roma Tote - help I can't decide

I like the pink blush, expresso brown and metallic ice. I already ordered the pink blush but now I am wondering if that is a good choice because of the light color. Will it be hard to keep clean? Also, I was going to use one as a briefcase (the expresso) and the metallic ice or blush as a handbag which I would use when I don't need my briefcase. If anyone already has this, can you tell me if it is heavy before you put in your stuff?

Kathy, this bag is such a personal choice, but if you read some of the threads discussing it, I doubt you could go wrong with whatever you select. If I could get one in each color I would, but I can't. I am on wait list for the blush color, but I was tempted by many others too, still am and should step away...lol. There have been suggestions of leather protectants for the lighter colors. I think your instincts are great, the espresso lizard would make a most excellent "briefcase" style bag. The info they have provided on weight is that it is 2 lbs 8 oz. empty, which is not bad for a big leather handbag. Hope whatever you decide, you are happy with your selections, it is a great value and if you don't like it you can always send it back.

Kathy: I heard Lisa say the weight was 2 lbs 8 oz. That's pretty heavy empty. While I think the espresso lizard is beautiful, I don't know how it will work as a briefcase. You might be better off with the black or the natural ostrich. The leathers on those are more durable.

Please keep in mind the leather is very stiff on this bag. It creases, which will show up more in the lighter colors.

I think they are saying the leathers are softer this time compared to the original Roma 2. The ostrich is supposedly more stiff than the others but even they have been put through an additional process to make them softer than the ostrich in the original Roma 2. Note I'm basing my comments on the presentations and what Lisa Robertson stated. Nobody has this new bag yet, from what I can tell, so we don't know for sure.

You had a bad experience with this bag previously, but from what I can determine from you posts, you have no experience with this bag, which is supposedly better.
