@Kachina624

The problem is with the Skecher Bungee Shoes --- not my feet. I've never had this experience with any shoes before. The Skecher material is soooooo flimsy and cheap.

@kivah  The Nurse Mate bungee shoes are firm,  pebble leather and a very firm non-stretchy fabric.   Your foot doesn't move in them.

@Kachina624 KURU is a wonderful supportive shoe.  The arch support is great, but not too hard and they cradle your heel.  I've not had plantar fasciitis since I started wearing them.

I do have many pairs of shoes ---- and I will never order shoes on-line again. Can't depend on the brands I bought previously.

Shoe stores are almost 1/2 hour from my house - so getting to one is an inconvenience for me - as I'm home most of the time.

@luv-the-Q I never heard of this brand so I looked it up.   I love the looks and color of this one but wonder about the low heel.   I hope it's not one of those "negative"  heel things.   I never had plantar fasciitis so don't need help with that.

@Kachina624 Those look pretty low.  The pair I have don't have the low heel, but if you don't have plantar fasciitis or knee problems this brand probably wouldn't be your best choice.  I love the ones you posted.  I'm ways on the lookout for shoes that fit my extra wide feet.  You gave me some great ideas.  Thanks!

@goldensrbest  Having spent many years in Texas where they're made,  I became familiar with SAS shoes years ago and had a few pairs.   I found that they're made of very soft leather and offered little,  if any,  support.

Mephistos are very good but expensive.
