I admit that I have a shoe fetish and a jeans fetish.  I have wayyyy too many of both.  The onky type shoe I don't wear anymore are high heels.  Cannot do it.  2-2-l/2 inch block heel or stacked heel is my limit.

I never wear heels at all anymore.  In summer it is sandals every day.  I need a quality shoe with support for my tired 72 year old feet.

I can wear some sandals that have support but geez my feet show my age and the home job pedicure is getting to be a challenge LOL. Being a senior citizen I am taken aback at nail and hair salon prices LOL.

I have had a hard time finding a cute sandal this season. Near!y everything I see on QVC is thick and clunky looking, more in line with an athletic type sandal than something you'd wear with a dress. Maybe it's my age showing. I did finally see a vegan leather Sketcher sandal that was a wedge with nice thin straps, but I had to send it back. The back ankle strap was not long enough - it barely closed. And I do not have thick ankles!. I finally ordered a Cliffs by White Mountain small wedge sandal that I'm happy with. Just wish there was more to choose from.

I'm with you. The arthritic toes are starting to look bad in sandals. And I'm just gobstruck by the prices of salon pedicures these days.
