Just not picking on the Sporto Special Value on HSN but it's hard to find a pair of boots that doesn't look like it has "road kill" faux fur around the top of the boots.  That boot would look so much better without the faux fur.

Even on the shorties that the Q has a TSV on, that stuff reminded me of road kill too...it's almost like the factories in China intentionally use that style, length, appearance of the cheapest faux fur out there.

I don't understand it.

@Mistreatedbycs ITA.  I would have gotten the Sportos if only they didn't have that fur. It looks cheap and ruins the entire look of the boot.

I bought Sporto boots from HSN three years ago that were a TSV.  They were suede with faux fur trim.  The fit was perfect and the faux fur was excellent quality.  I liked them so much I ordered them in a second color.  (Tried to get the third, but they were sold out.)

I've worn them through every Northeast winter and they still look like new and keep my feet dry and warm.  Since then I've ordered about ten other pairs of boots and shoes in the Sporto brand and the fit is always perfect.

I personally don't like the look of this TSV (if I want that style of boot, I'd order the original LL Bean hunting boot) but I have no hesitation about ordering Sporto.  They are consistent in their sizing and quality.

I have  6 pair of Sporto that are all over 3 years old and still look like new.  Two pair of them have beautiful full faux fur.   At this time I have to many pairs of shoes and boots so will not be looking for anything new.  I take good care of them and buy to last for the good of my feet.  Look for the best for you and then watch for a great clearance.  You can find top quality for inexpensive prices if you take the time to look.  A big name with a top price does not always guarantee top quality.

I was in Marshall's yesterday and they had a lot of boots, various brands and styles.  If I needed a pair, I would have bought.

I like the TS Sporto boots, especially that HSN has them in wide. I would jump if the price point was better.
