According to an article in the WSJ, Sarah Blakely, the billionaire inventor of Spanx, is now promoting a new product, the Sneex - a cross between a stiletto and a sneaker.  Did anyone have this on their products-I-would-like-to-see bingo card?

People wear sneakers for comfort.  Adding that stiletto heel negates that advantage.  Sara is out in left field this time.

Surprisingly, they're not quite as ugly as I thought they'd be.  Dare I say almost cute??

Whereas her undergarments had cross-generational appeal, this footwear style seems confined to a very specific niche customer base. The mainstream most likely won't migrate to this as the heels will be a no-go for many who wear sneakers for fashion. This doesn't mean the product won't make money, but I can't see Sneex becoming a household name in product lingo as Spanx did.

Not my style at all....  I think SG had something like these on a week or so ago, maybe when she had her TSV??   I specifically remember the host making a big deal out of it.

Bizarre idea.

If Sex and the City were still on I would not be surprised to see Sarah Jessica Parker wearing them.
