I had to write a new post to tell you I saw how you did this to your black bag. And you are a genius!!!! A true genius.

I just started using mine and it seemed awkward and cumbersome carrying it by the handles. But I love the bag. Then I saw your post. I actually took the handles off of mine. I didn't like the long strap because it was too long, but doubled it is perfect. The straps that held the handle look fine without because on the front they meet where it folds over.

The best part is you can change it back if you get tired of it.

Thanks so much. I would have never occured to me. I always just throw those long straps in a drawer. And I never change the length of the straps or buckles at all. Now I won't be so afraid!
