Shoes

I don't know what they do when trying on the shoes.  I, personally, have to have some type of sock on my feet, even if it's what I call "footies" or the low cut "socklets" which do not show when wearing certain shoes.  They even have the little half sock you can wear when wearing clogs.  I believe everyone's feet perspire in summer or winter.  I can't stand to wear shoes with no type of socks or something as a barrier between my feet and the shoe I am wearing.  This protects the life and health of of the shoe as well.

Imagine going into a shoe store and trying on shoes that others have tried on. It's the same in any store from fancy to discount. 

You can use an antiseptic spray that's ok for shoes when you get them home.

I prefer to try on shoes without socks but that's not how some stores operate. I take a pair of super thin no show socks with me but hate wearing them even for those few minutes. 

I very rarely wear socks. I'll stick with Uggs if it's cold and they keep my feet warm. I even wear Uggs as house slippers. 

It's weird how I feel about trying shoes on without socks. I'm usually a bit of a germaphobe but this is one thing that doesn't bother me.

The very rare times I do wear socks, they are the super thin, no-padding Darn Tough or Smartwool socks.

I can't wear shoes without socks or the sock liners.  I don't like the feeling of it.

I never wear socks. I have always disliked them since I have small feet and they never seem to fit right, always too long and the heel is way put of place. I do wear knee high hose in winter under my pants.

I only wear socks in winter when it is REALLY cold, which is most of the winter in the NE!

My daughter likes to wear a thin liner with all her shoes.

Can't stand socks of any kind, in any climate.  Too claustrophobic..

I rarely wear socks. I hate them. 

I live in Uggs classics in the winter, inside and outdoors. They keep my feet warm and I don't have to wear socks. 

I force myself to wear socks with some shoes if I'm going somewhere that Uggs aren't appropriate in the winter. But they come off immediately when I get home.

My socks are no show.  They are cut low, so they don't show.  Shoes have always looked better without socks.  But it not healthy to not wear socks.  Feet sweat.  And forms bacteria.  Socks may look tacky, but you should wear them.
